Wholewheat Banana Walnut Bread

3 medium ripe bananas – mashed
1/2 cup milk (use almond alternative for vegan)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 3/4 cups Sunreap whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vinegar
Step 1Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 9-inch x 5-inch loaf pan. I used mini loaf pans.
Step 2In a medium bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. When combined, add the oil and mix it in.
Step 3In a separate large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Step 4Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together until just combined. Stir in the vinegar. Add the chopped walnuts and mix slightly.
Step 5Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Step 6Bake the banana bread for 45-50 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack and let the banana bread cool in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer the banana bread onto a rack and let cool completely.
