Directions
Step 1Finely crush the elaichis, also make a paste of half of the rose and another half into tiny pieces.
Step 2Heat a pan, put besan and slightly roast for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 3Put jaggery, followed by a very little amount of water (say 1/4 cup)Keep stirring and mixing on low flame until jaggery melts.
Step 4Now add rose petals paste and crushed elaichi powder.Stir it well, now the mixture content would become too sticky.Switch off the flame and let the ladoo mixture cool down (rest it for about 10 minutes)
Step 5Now wet your palm slightly with water, take a little portion from the mixture and roll it over using both palms giving them round size. Lastly, roll the ladoo on rose petals pieces on a plate with light motion.
Tips:
Keeping my recipe too simple and healthy, however, to avoid sticking the ladoo mixture in the pan, you can add 2 tbsp ghee in the very beginning.
About the Author
Recipe by Paromita PramanickCooking was never my cup of tea even on my mid 20s.But now I simply love preparing new innovative, traditional, fusion healthy dishes.I began with very easy cooking like preparing maggi, pasta, noodles during my days away from home. Then slowly I started cooking main course and side dishes with my mother's guidance. Now am happy to share my recipes with everyone around the globe. My morning begins with a cup of tea alongside a healthy breakfast. I usually have rice in the afternoon with two side dishes and some fried veggies or papad. Evenings I keep it simple with some fruits or light snacks, also take a walk generally or perform a 5-10 mins yoga. Night preferably I prepare chapati with lentil soup or stir fry veggie.
