Ingredients

Sunreap Besan (Gram flour)

8 tbsp

Plain Curd

1 cup

Cumin seeds and mustard seeds

1, 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder

1/2 tsp

Red Chilly Powder

1/2 tsp

Coriander Powder

1/2 tsp

Ginger 1/2" piece

Green chilli (cut finely) 1

Asafoetida a pinch

Salt to taste

Green Peas Boiled

2 tbsp

Oil as needed

Directions

Step 1With 6 tbsp gram flour, 1/2 tsp carom seeds, 1/4th tsp turmeric Powder, salt and 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder form a thick batter adding 1 tbsp curd and water.

Step 2Then shallow fry thick pancakes out of this on a griddle.

Step 3 Chop these pancakes into 1" square pieces. Keep aside.

Step 4Heat 2 tbsp oil, add asafoetida, mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Then add turmeric Powder, Red Chilly Powder and Mix Well

Step 5Add finely chopped green chillies and cut ginger.

Step 6Beat the curd with 2 tbsp Besan, 2 cups of water and pour into the vessel which has the fried spices.

Step 7Cook on a low flame for 15 minutes.

Step 8Add the chopped pancakes, green peas and salt

Step 9Simmer till slightly thick, add water if necessary.
