30 min 2 Moderately Sweet Main Ingredient: Sunreap Atta Cuisine: Indian Fusion
1 Cup Sunreap Chakki Fresh Atta
2 Cups Hot water
Half to 3/4 cup Sugar (according to your taste) or Jagery
1/2 to 3/4 cup Ghee
pinch of Cardamom
Dry Fruits to your preference
In a kadai melt the ghee and add the Sunreap Chakki Fresh Atta. Roast it till the mix comes to badami brown.
This roasting may take up to 30 minutes on a medium flame. Good roasting of the atta will give a rich taste.
At this stage add hot water and sugar and mix well.
Once it reaches halwa consistency
add dry fruits, cardamom. It is suggested to not make the halwa dry like Sooji halwa.
The Halwa is ready to serve.
